Apple Ranks 1st in the "Forbes Top Brands List"

"Apple" topped the "Forbes" annual list of the most prominent brands in the world, and among the top 100 companies during the fiscal year 2019. According to "Forbes" the value of the company's trademark amounted to $241.2 billion, an increase of 17 percent on an annual basis.

In contrast, the brand "Google" kept the second position in the list with $207.5 billion, an increase of 24 percent compared to the same period last year. While "Microsoft" ranked third with a brand value of $162.9 billion, an increase of 30 percent over last year. As for "Amazon" company, it came fourth with $135.4 billion. While the value of the brand of social networking giant "Facebook" decreased by 21 percent from last year with $70.3 billion, and fell to the 5th place.

According to the list, companies based in the United States made up more than 50 of the top 100. The technology sector was the most popular in the ranking with 20 companies, followed by 14 in the financial services sector, 11 in cars and 8 in retail. The list also included many new arrivals such as "Nintendo", "Hennessy" and "Burger King".
